There are multiple sensory systems that are vital for your ability to perform – learn, attend and understand, as well as moving and interacting fluidly. A multi-sensory approach best measures and addresses your underperformance or learning difficulty. Find out how you score!

The Listening Scorecard measures the five sensory skills important for learning

PROCESSING SPEED
The world we are living in is accelerating. Can you process fast enough to make sense of what you see hear and feel? Of the thousands of clients that I have assessed, only a minority are able to process fast enough to cope in their daily lives.

ATTENTION
Are you easily distracted and do you daydream? Because the world we are living in increasingly complex and noisy, we need to be able to really pay attention if we are to prosper. Social media, computer games, small screens, personal music players and the myth of multitasking is conspiring to undermine our capacity to attend and concentrate.

COMMUNICATION
The world we are living in is accelerating. Can you process fast enough to make sense of what you see hear and feel? Of the thousands of clients that I have assessed, only a minority are able to process fast enough to cope in their daily lives.

LITERACY & NUMERACY
We live in a world, which increasingly assumes a mastery of English and Maths. Even the most basic job requires you to be able to read safety signs. We assemble language in the ear and it is this skill, which provides the foundation for your literacy and numeracy.

PITCH PERCEPTION
It is vital to understand the way words are spoken to us. To do this we must be able to understand tone of voice. Without this skill, we can easily misinterpret what others say to us, struggle to recognise humour, confuse warnings with anger and miss the key messages delivered by our teachers, employees, friends, family or even our best mate.

Be courageous! Find out how you perform.
